Students in our transition classroom are roughly between the ages of two and a half and three and a half years of age.  For students who started in our Toddler Program, this program is a continuation and expansion of the concepts and materials to which they were introduced previously.  However, students who start in this classroom easily adapt to the Montessori environment and love the variety of materials available to stimulate their learning and their sense of independence.

Transition Room students learn all of their initial sounds and start to do simple addition.  Some of the children in this classroom are potty trained and some are working on it.
